Ohaga Ohaga is a Kenyan multimedia journalist, writer, book editor and communication specialist whose work bridges creative storytelling, media accountability, and political commentary. An accomplished author and scholar, he also lectures at universities and colleges in Kenya and abroad, with academic and professional interests spanning media law and policy, political communication, investigative journalism, broadcast media, and alternative media.
He began his career in 2006 as a feature writer for Kenya Times, later serving as a radio producer and presenter at Pamoja FM, editor of Workers’ Voice, and communications officer at an NGO. His path also led him through events management and entertainment before moving into academia.
Today, he is a weekly contributor with The Kenya Times (thekenyatimes.com), where he regularly writes on media accountability, political communication, and social justice in East Africa. He is also a regular commentator on social and public affairs across regional platforms.
